I play in public maybe once or twice a year. This was right before the Christmas Eve mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tonkawa, OK. My wife Audrey was videotaping me, but I did not know that at the time. I was one of several musicians who performed before the mass started.
I added an introduction of 14 notes played 3 times, each time slower in tempo. It felt like a nice way for us to think about slowing down sometimes and appreciating the chance to do so..
