Moments
In the end, it’s pretty simple.
Our cameras are magic boxes. And we the sorcerers.
The light, the barrier and the passageway. The Trinity for our kind.
We struggle and stumble as we learn to chew and digest the fabric with which we weave our nets.
Snares we throw with levels of ease or pain to capture these moments that dart.
Elusive creatures crossing our paths.
The union can be of our own design, but sometimes of our own befuddlement, not knowing the why.
The best of these are nourishment. We eat them as fruits of our labor.
Alas, we are sentenced to a lifetime of hunger.
Always looking for the crumbs or banquets, to carry us to another passageway, from dark to light.
